Now when it comes to baking I absolutely love it and one of my top favourites has got to be Giant Cookies so I thought I'd share this recipe with you guys!
- The ingredients that you'll need are very simple:
- 300g Caster Sugar
- 200g Butter
- 1 large Egg
- 275g Self - raising Flour
- 100g Milk Chocolate Chunk
- Method
- The first thing to do is preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius
- Next you want to cream together your Caster Sugar and your butter until it is smooth
- Then crack your egg into the sugar and butter and mix.
- Sift your Self - raising Flour into the wet ingredients and fold until all combined
- Add a splash of milk if you think the mixture is quite dry. But the milk is optional
- Add your milk chocolate chips or any kind of chocolate chunk I just happen to choose Milk chocolate. Mix them into your cookie dough. If you want plain once, just don't add the chocolate chunks.
- Next get a small handful of of the cookie mixture and roll into a ball and place on a baking sheet and repeat with the rest of the dough but make sure they are quite far apart from each other because they expand quite a lot, I would advise to put 4 or 5 on a baking tray at once.
- Then put into your preheated oven for 11 - 12 minutes if you want them nice and soft in the middle, you can have them in longer if you want to.
- Let them cool for 30 minuets and then enjoy with a nice hot Cup of Tea.
Hope you enjoy making these cookies as much as I did. Let me know what you think of them and how you got on with making them.
Love,
Claire!:) x
